I'm delighted to advise that as well as my website I am not able to sell my artwork on my Facebook and Instagram account as I now have a social media shop. Please feel free to pop over to my shop for a look. New art pieces are being added all the time.

Tonight is the night!!! After 5 long months of keeping quiet I can finally reveal I was successful in appearing as a wildcard for season 7 of Sky Arts Landscape Artist of the Year....woohooo!! After entering the year before and obtaining a wildcard position for their London heat I was so disappointed to learn I couldn't attend as the pandemic got worst and restrictions were applied. This year I decided to go again and was so thankful to Storyvault Films for allowing me this second chance as a wildcard. This year we got to attend the beautiful Eden Project in Cornwall and paint the beautiful landscapes.
I took part in the 1st of July filming (which was the second day of recording) in the Eden Project. I was fortunate enough to paint the beautiful gardens in my heat and this episode will be aired 2nd of February 2022 on Sky Arts and Freeview. It was such an exciting day and I had so much fun meeting all the other artists, production crew and off the judges and hosts. I cant say too much more than that until my episode airs so my lips are well and truly sealed. Before flying over to Cornwall, I decided to do a practice piece see photo attached. I look forward to going back to Cornwall soon. Over the past 3 months every weekend I have been attending various Artisan Markets across NI. This was a fantastic experience and I sold alot...i mean alot of my artwork and prints!! I was so thankful to everyone who purchased my work and off course to the following vendors for allowing me to exhibit and sell my artwork:-
1) Downpatrick Artisan Market 2) Warrenpoint Artisan Market 3) Warrenpoint Community Group 4) Burren Community Group 5) Flock around the Clock and the Boulevard Shopping Centre and Brownlow House. 6) Saintfield Artisan Market 7) Newry Variety Market 8) The Artisan Fayre at the Quays Shopping Centre. Thank you to everyone who made the past 3 more so much fun! I had a fabulous experience at the Saintfield Artisan Market on the 9th of October. This was my first time exhibiting in Saintfield and it was such a lovely town. The other vendors and owners of the Market were lovely and very welcoming. I met some great people and very grateful to Aisling at the Turmeric Healing Company who was my neighbor on the day. She helped me a lot throughout the day and was great company. Saintfield has a Saturday Market each week from 8.30am - 2.30pm and a special craft market once a month. I look forward to returning to Saintfield on the 31st of October.
After the success of experiencing my first Artisan Market in Downpatrick, I'm delighted to advise I will be taking part in the Warrenpoint Artisan Market along side the Warrenpoint Art Group. It's on this Saturday the 25th of September from 11am - 3pm, pop along and come and visit our stall on the day. There is plenty of amazing Artwork for sale from all our members (something for everyone). See you then!
I'm delighted to advise that I will be taking part in the Downpatrick Artisan Market on the 18th of September 2021. I'm looking forward to showing everyone who attends my Art work. I have spent the past couple of weeks preparing for the event and on the day I will be selling original Artwork and reproductions. Below is an example of some of the fine art prints I will be selling. If your nearby pop over to the Market on the 18th - it's located behind the Downpatrick Bus Station.
Update: Thank you so much to everyone that called along on the 18th of September to my stall. I met a lot of lovely people and the other traders were very friendly and the best of craic. I was overjoyed with the lovely comments my Art received and sales on the day. Today I got the most fantastic experience of hosting a kids painting workshop. I was approached the Threeways Community Centre and asked to design a creative workshop for 40 kids over the summer. The workshop had to be something interesting and fun that suited the kids aged between 6 - 11 years old.
I decided to design a colourful cow and used the painting by numbers concept to make the process a lot more easier for the kids to follow along. I painted each part step by step then encouraged the kids to follow me to create 40 masterpieces of art. I was delighted to hear that the Newry Reporter would be coming along to take photos and interview the Community Center about the wonderful summer scheme they planned for the kids. All in all, it was a brilliant experience and so much fun! Something I will certainly be doing again! I'm delighted to announce that I was accepted into the Warrenpoint Art Group and its newest member! I'm so thankful and overjoyed that these very talented bunch of Artists allowed me to join their wonderful group.
During the months of July and August, Warrenpoint Art Group, in partnership with Newry and Mourne District Council are hosting an Art Exhibition every Sunday at the Warrenpoint Band Stand. All the members will be exhibiting their paintings between 11am - 1pm and the exhibition is called "Art in the Park". Please do come along and see all the amazing work on display! |
