What is a live wedding painter?
How does it work?
After consultation with the Bride and Groom, I agree the location in the venue to set up my equipment and begin painting the special moment. Guests will be able to watch me create the portrait during your reception from start to finish. They can also interact and paint a part of the painting - each making their individual marks and becoming involved in your special portrait. By the end of the reception, you will have a beautiful portrait of you both. I will then take the painting back to my studio for touch ups and contact you in a several weeks with the final painting.
What materials do you use?
I will paint the portrait using high quality acrylic and oil paints which complements my painting style perfectly. The finished painting will then be varnished with a gloss finish to protect and enhance the final painting. The couple will receive the canvas in a few weeks after their ceremony (after studio touch ups) and also have the option of professional framing. We will discuss your requirements prior to the wedding reception.
How much will the service cost?
I am happy to discuss your requirements for your big day I offer a flat rate competitive price of £900. There is a 25% non refundable deposit needed to secure your booking. The remaining final payment is due one week before your big day.
What does the package include?
- When couples think of their wedding entertainment a few traditional options spring to mind, such as a DJ, a Magician or a live band. I offer something completely different in the form of entertainment for your guests on your big day and capturing a special moment between the Bride and Groom on a beautiful painting.

- You will receive a pre wedding call to discuss all the details and ideas for the posing the newlyweds at your venue for the most perfect photograph to allow me to work on your painting during your reception (tailored to your taste).
- 8 hours of live wedding painting in your venue. (I will arrive 1-2 hours earlier before you and your guest arrive to set up and start painting once I have the photograph to work from).
- A painting of the newlyweds in a wrapped canvas 20" x 16" (using professional Acrylic and Oil paints).
- Studio touchups of approx. 20 hours after the wedding.
- Gloss varnish finish to enhance the colors and protect your painting for many many years.
- you will also get an option of framing (white wooden frame by a professional framer for small additional cost).
- Certificate of Authenticity by the Artist.
- One fine art print of the finished painting for family or friends - 16" x 12" mounted and sealed.
- Delivery and packaging costs to ship the painting to your address.
